Chemistry vs. Attraction
I was welcomed into a Love Coaching Professionals Facebook group by a dating and relationship expert that I’ve personally worked with years ago. I answered a question post in that Facebook group three days ago not expecting to get much of a response.
I wanted to give my point of view on the matter so I commented. I felt that most of the viewpoints recognized and applauded were of a scientific nature. While science does correlate to factual evidence, it doesn’t explain everything going on in every situation. I felt annoyed when I gave my opinion on the matter and someone else with a more important title responded to my answer basically nullifying what I had to say. Everyone gave their opinion and insight and my answer was the only answer that was commented on along with the link to his website.
I hated not having my insight and opinion valued by the people that I was opening up to. Everyone has their own background, experiences, viewpoint and insight that may be of value to someone.
I have helped many people. I understand that my approach is not for everyone. I have a background in spirituality, metaphysics, world religions, energy healing and psychic abilities. This helps me connect in unique ways. My mission is to help people learn that love is worthwhile and that it can be reached.
I continue to connect with those that may need my help. I understand my mission and commit to that. I listen. Listening is something that has enabled me to understand the needs of other people quite well. I continue to understand the developing needs of men and women online to help guide them towards their love goals.
I understand that I am not for everyone. My background, experiences, viewpoint and insight will also only help people that I come into contact with if they desire help. I cannot force people to change. Change comes from an internal desire to reach a different outcome. I can give someone my insight. If it is not taken wholeheartedly, the desired outcome for them is never reached. That is the most frustrating part to learn about coaching.
When you give a client your knowledge and expertise, from that point on, it is his or her responsibility to take action, not yours. Sometimes you can have the best of intentions, but you may not connect well with the client. The same is true with other people. The energy just may not connect. When I answered the question in the Facebook group, I answered it as follows: “Chemistry is what happens when there’s mutual attraction. Attraction can happen with one person, the other person or both. Attraction between both people would equal chemistry.” The expert had responded with “As a concept, what you are saying could be true” and then went into talking about a scientific study about chemistry. I don’t know about you, but chemistry never explained a lot of things in my life and I got along fine without it. I’m not knocking chemistry, but meaning in life is what I strive to find. That’s why I was so driven to study metaphysics.
I learned that everyone has their own passions and specialties to add to life. We each were born in with specific energy as is detailed in natal charts. This is a great reference tool to understand a person’s energy. I understand that we all may not agree on one specific idea or a group of ideas. What matters is if the information we receive opens us up to coming closer to our goals in life. Finding that information is valuable when and if we find it.
