Because love is unique in our own experiences with it, we can never copy a love exactly like what it was between two people. We can come to understand ideas of love in our minds, but the actual energy of love is based on experience. Some consider love to be the most powerful force in the universe.

People want to love and be loved in return, but don’t know the range of tools and techniques that are out there to help. People that are stuck in old beliefs or an unchanging mindset will stay the same leaving no chances for new possibilities. People do this to themselves and this ends up in despair, depression or sadness.

When you are unwilling to change, you will limit yourself. The range of experiences will become limited. The energy that you will experience will become limited. This influences your overall fulfillment and happiness by limiting it.

In August 2014, there was research done regarding love. It concluded that thinking about romantic relationships increases positive affect and blood glucose levels. It was published in the journal, Psychophysiology. Thoughts are powerful and our body responds to them almost immediately.

If you feel that you are not lovable or struggling with the energy of love, there are many love and self love visualization techniques and guided meditations available. You just have to open your mind and be open to your internal experience. Try it. What do you have to lose? If you are currently in a relationship and would like it to improve, you can find visualization techniques and guided meditations meant for your relationship.

Internally, we may not be able to shut off certain thoughts or emotions surfacing inside of us. This may prevent us from experiencing love how we would like to. Allowing the energy of love into our lives can be a process. We may feel resistance, but if we allow the resistance to stop us, it will.

The energy of love can be accessed at any time. It is just a matter of being open to receiving it and then disintegrating the resistance and blocks that we have so that the receipt of love is possible.

Love is a bonding, unifying energy. We may be closed off to love because “love hurt us and I don’t want to be hurt again,” but that wasn’t love. It was dishonesty and poor choices that someone chose to make towards us. Love can have a lasting powerful effect on us, but only if we let it.
