How Love Is Universal

3 min readSep 22, 2020

I’ve helped many men and women sort out with clarity their own situation and what goals that they have in love. I’ve learned that it doesn’t matter where you are from. No matter what language you speak, the energy of love remains the same.

Love is universal, but there may be cultural differences and beliefs from region to region in the world. A lot of the same issues and problems in love exist in every country causing isolation, confusion and misunderstandings in relationships.

When we do not feel connected to someone like we want to be, love becomes hard and not worth it for us. We may want to give up our current relationship, search for someone else to fulfill our needs or sit around in despair feeling trapped in our current situation. Isolation and loneliness may set in because we do not feel happy or connected to our partner.

Having a great connection to our partner starts with knowing who we are and knowing what our needs and wants are in the first place. It is almost like matching puzzle pieces. Find your own happiness first and then find that person that will be able to genuinely be happy fulfilling those needs and wants.

The Love Compass website illustrates a triangle with needs in it. This website also has great questions to ask whether your desire or impulse is a need or a want. We want to be realistic with our partner and not develop a self serving attitude. We should be realistic with our requests and realistic with our needs.

When we only become self serving, we deny our partner’s needs and wants. Serving only one side of the relationship will make the relationship as a whole unbalanced and it will eventually fail. Using manipulation tactics to get your way every time will wear on the other partner and cause your partner to question the relationship and its value.

We may understand love in different ways. I understand that love at its core is the same. Energetically, we may be repelled or attracted to someone. That goes beyond religion or beliefs. On the AstroStar website, there is an article called, “Love is the Highest Form of Energy” by Ricardo Rojas. In this article, it mentions that love is the highest form of energy and explains why that is.

When a partner does not act the way that we had hoped or fulfill a role in our love lives, we may feel embarrassed, hopeless or hurt. Love is not letting someone down. A lot of people avoid “love” because they have associated it with the loss of love. We may have loved someone without receiving the energy of love back. We may have been let down several times. If this is the case, we were not receiving love. We attempted to receive love. Just like Ricardo Rojas had mentioned in his article, love is the highest form of energy. This means that we will feel elevated, renewed, refreshed and happy. Love is ever present around us, we just need to find it within ourselves and then match that vibration outside of us.
