How We Set Ourselves Up To Fail Or Succeed In Love

When we give up evolution in the direction of betterment for ourselves or our relationship, that is the moment when we admit defeat. When we think that it may be too hard to improve ourselves or feel good about ourselves, we accept the other option, which is stagnancy or no improvement.

At one point some years back, I wanted to reach an ideal weight, but I had issues with getting enough time to go to the gym. I was stressed out from my job at that time, which had a lot of responsibility attached to it.

I felt that I had to change the way that I was going about reaching my ideal weight. I was overwhelmed at a lot of the things that I would have to do in combination with each other to get there. I had to track calories, go to the gym and eat certain foods.

I didn’t want to just lose weight. I wanted more energy and to feel better about myself. I knew that it would be worthwhile in the end to get to that point of enjoyment with myself, but I had to accept the process of transformation.

I tracked myself with a closer eye. I took pictures of how I looked throughout my weight loss journey. I belonged to a Facebook group…
