If It’s Not Meant To Be, Let It Go

There are some people that will spend their lives fixated on “the one that got away” or never open their hearts to new possibilities in love. When one door closes, another door opens. If we never look for that new door opening, we will miss a new opportunity for happiness and joyfulness in love.

People desire certain feelings that happened when they were with certain people, but people change and feelings are fleeting. When you can’t feel certain positive feelings again that you had when you were with someone, you may feel in complete despair, which holds you back from opening yourself up to a new love opportunity.

The fixation on not having a certain person in your love life can make you feel devastated and keep the door closed to any new love opportunities. Sitting in sorrow over what has been the past and what may never be will drain your energy. If your attention is fixated on the past, you are missing those opportunities in the present moment.

Joyful and happy emotions can be found again. It is just a matter of allowing ourselves to feel that spark in the present. The past is the past. We were different people back then. The people that we may have been longing for are different people today.
