Maturity: How It Factors Into Love

I had a Facebook friend direct message me about love. She said that when a man talks about a woman in which he wants to live, love, be passionate and continue his life with… does he need a mature woman? How does age factor in to all of this?

Men and women have different needs in love at various ages. My Facebook friend said that when the man or the woman is not very serious and they are dating each other blindly without knowing deeply their own needs, the two of them will break up realizing their relationship wasn’t a serious connection. This may or may not happen. Some men and women will not understand that they are lacking in maturity because they are used to living their lives in particular ways. They may deal with childishness or a lack of maturity for various reasons. You also can’t have a clear understanding of what’s missing or lacking in your life if you’ve been without it for so long!

Some people do not know how to act with maturity. They consistently react. They are resistant to change. It is those people that resist change and better ways of living and relating to others that will find dissatisfaction within their relationships.

My Facebook friend made an excellent point during our conversation. A woman should be mature in her mind and experience. Real love needs maturity to continue until the last day of her life. I say…
