My 2020 Blogging Style vs. My 2021 Blogging Style

Today I received some comments from a fellow blogger. This blogger made a couple responses today on my blogs that I published within publications. The first response went like this… “This is clear and well written, in my opinion, however it feels clinical and did not touch my heart. Perhaps the addition of personal stories or borrowed stories from someone you know would help to draw out the emotion behind the suggestions and provide examples for a reader to resonate with.” The second response went like this… “Thank you for sharing these strategies. I wonder, is it possible to list them without the numbers? My own preference is to read articles that tell more of a story and I find list articles not as helpful to me. I know that many readers like lists so only take this feedback if it resonates with you.” It got me to thinking how my blogging style had changed from last year to this year.

This year I feel like I’ve been wanting to give actual practical advice and tips to help anyone seeing my blog do something about their love lives. I thought that if I was more practical in my approach in blogging that I would be able to help more, but this particular blogger desired more of an emotional connection, which I provided more in the beginning of my blogging days last year when I detailed stories and events that happened to myself as well as detailing stories and…
