Odd Age Gap Experiences In Love

Years ago when I was in my late 20s, I was asked out on a date by someone while I was at work that must have been between 60 to 70 years old. I was shocked. Is this person for real? I walked away, got help from an assistant manager and told her what happened. This guy was super creepy. At another point around this same age, I had been approached with a gift bag from another older guy who the store manager had thought was my dad. The store manager was like, “Don’t be freaked out, but someone’s here for you… just see if it’s anyone you know.” He wasn’t my dad. He knew my name and gave me a gift bag with flowers and angels in them. He said something about my smile being as bright as the sun. In the gift bag, there was also a CD, but it smashed before I ever got a chance to find out what was on it. I had put it in my back pocket and it cracked as I was leaning against the counter. It was also a very creepy experience.

These men wanted a woman much younger than themselves, but I was very much repulsed at these advances and no amount of money could have ever been enough to make me stay with either of these two men. I was surprised and confused at the times these two things happened. It was very gross to me and embarrassing that I was even approached by them.
