The internet and social media allows us to revisit the past. Google and search engines allows us to find people again. If we don’t get the closure we desire, we may have the need to keep revisiting an ex’s profile and checking up on them to see if they are doing well or not doing well. The lack of closure in a relationship’s ending may drive us to stalk an ex because of emotional turmoil we are experiencing.
