Still Waiting For The Perfect Man…

I searched online to see if they still had the image that I had been thinking of from awhile back. I went along with my aunt, mom, cousin and sister to hang out years and years ago… I would guess it was at least two decades ago by now… there was a magnet on a magnet stand in a shop. It said “Still Waiting For The PERFECT Man!” on it. It was a running joke on and off growing up.

Some people desire perfect things like perfect homes, perfect relationships, etc., but life comes with its ups and downs and we cannot stop the “downs” when they come. When we don’t have the right tools or knowledge to overcome the “downs” in life, we feel overwhelmed and anxious about what is going to happen.

If you are striving to find the “perfect man,” you may regret the opportunities and chances that you had to be with a really good guy who wasn’t perfect, but cared and tried his best with what he had.
