The Break Up Of Bill Gates

A Facebook friend had forwarded the above screenshot of this tweet from Bill Gates. He wanted to know what I would say about this as a relationship coach. I have noticed that people in general are fascinated with celebrity relationships. Perhaps it mirrors aspects of ourselves. Perhaps it hits very close to home when a break up happens to someone that has significant power and influence in society because we know that they are not immune to the sufferings and pitfalls of life.

Bill Gates desires privacy and space, but being in the public eye does not make it easy as questions will arise as to what made him make this particular decision. He made a decision for himself that he thought was the best, but only he knows those reasons for the break up.

Media outlets and followers of Bill Gates can speculate all they want as to what led to the divorce, but this is just considered entertainment for the rest of the world. It allows a distraction from our own personal lives. Distractions from our own personal lives gives us an excuse to not fully deal with our own lives.
