Would You Sue Your Partner For Wasting Your Time?!

I was listening to a radio show yesterday morning about a couple. The woman was with a man for eight years without any relationship commitment or engagement. They have a child together. She was suing him for wasting her time. I had never heard a story like this one before.

She wanted a commitment, but had not been given one by the man that she had been with for several years. I can only imagine what she must have felt including frustration, anger and hopelessness.

She was at wit’s end and sought justice through the legal system. She wanted this man that she’d been with to realize what toll this took on her life in an extreme way. Putting pressure on him and seeking justice in this way through the legal system probably did not make the man want to be with her any more than before. You can never make someone want to commit to you.

Time can be wasted if you allow it. Eight years is a long time to be with someone. If she was aligned in her love goal of commitment, she would have noticed the signs that perhaps this man did not have the same love goal as her and move on from him.
