“You Gotta See Your Self Worth Before Your Self Worth Is Even There”
I was talking to my fiancé last night about a situation that was going on in one of our friend’s lives. He made a good point at the end of our conversation. He said, “You gotta see your self worth before your self worth is even there.” Sometimes people do not consider their self worth and accept whatever comes their way. They don’t figure out their boundaries and allow toxic situations to continue until it influences them badly and almost pins them in a corner.
A lot of times people desire to feel worthy in a specific person’s eyes, but do not consider the source (the person) of who is granting that worthiness. They do not consider who that person really is. If you hinged how you felt about yourself based on another person’s perspective, you will be subjecting yourself to a life filled with uncertainty and instability.
A lot of times we devalue our own perspectives because we either do not have the support from having our own perspectives, people question our perspectives or our perspectives get devalued from other opinions clashing against how we are seeing things.
To have something be in existence, you have to feel its presence and know that it is there. If you had never considered your self worth, it will not exist. Worth and value are all relative. Speaking from experience…
